Skiing in Courchevel La Tania

There is one modern fast telecabine operating out of La Tania, the La Tania telecabine and a tricky drag/button lift for the brave called Gros Murger. With both you have to change and ride other ski lifts to make it into Courchevel proper or Meribel.

Courchevel La Tania is its own small ski area with something for everyone. There is 2 green, 2 blue, 2 red and 1 black piste.

It is incredibly easy to get out of La Tania to other areas of the Three Valley ski resort.

 

Courchevel 1850 can be accessed by catching the La Tania telecabine, then ski down the green or blue piste to the Bouc Blanc chairlift. From here, follow either the Anemones blue piste or Loze-est green piste down into 1850. There are also a couple of red piste to chose from at the top of Bouc Blanc too.

 

Courchevel Le Praz can be accessed using the La Tania telecabine and then skiing down the Jockeys (black)/ Murettes (red) piste. This is not a route for beginners.

 

Like accessing other parts of Courchevel catch the La Tania telecabine out of La Tania. From there, ski across to the Dou Des Lanches chairlift. This takes you to the top of Col de la Loze from which you can ski down into Meribel Centre.

 

From Meribel Centre you can ski into Val Thorens within 3 lifts.

Catch the La Tania telecabine up, from the top ski down the Folyeres blue piste.

 

This blue winds through the forest and offers some excellent views. It is one of our favourite and one of the best pistes in the whole of the Three Valley Ski Area.

A number of ski schools meet in La Tania with the majority meeting by the restaurant the Ski Lodge, the meeting points are clearly marked with flags so easy to see.
