A Guide to Courchevel La Tania

 

Courchevel La Tania was puprose built for the 1992 Winter Olympics and has since become an incredibly popular resort destination. La Tania, in itself, offers some of the best skiing in the Three Valleys, whilst also having great access to the rest of Courchevel and the Meribel ski area.

 

If you are looking to make the most of your ski holiday, La Tania town centre, whilst small, has a great buzz to it. La Tania is also a very family friendly resort.

 

 

Courchevel La Tania has the one fast gondola operating out of the village. From the top you will need to catch other ski lifts to be able to get into the main Courchevel ski area or over in to Meribel.

 

There are three pistes leading back into La Tania, a green, a blue and a red, making it an excellent location for all abilities. The blue piste, Folyeres, is one of our favourite pistes in the whole Three Valley ski area.

 

 

Courchevel La Tania is home to a few shops, bars and restaurants, including the Michelin-Starred Le Farçon.

 

For the non-skiers, new Aquamotion centre is within 10-minutes on the free resort bus, which offers a leisure-complex, with pools, indoor surfing, a spa and great restaurants.

 

Alternitvely you could enjoy an afternoon drink and some lunch on the sun soaked terrace of The Ski Lodge or enjoy a spot of Apres.
